STALKING

On Wednesday 27/05/2026 at approximately 2223 hours, police were called to â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  following reports that a male, later identified as Samuel Robinson Adams, had attended the address of his ex-partner, Wilson, and was refusing to leave.

Wilson currently resides at â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  with his new partner, Sam Cherny, where he has lived for the last two years. Also at this address is Heather Agather, who is Sam Cherny's mother. Agather has provided a statement describing what she witnessed on 27th May 2026 regarding Adams turning up to their home address. Agather describes that at around 21:45hrs, she was at home with Wilson and her family when she heard the Ring doorbell and saw Adams was at their gate. Adams rang the doorbell 64 times. Agather answered the ringing and said "you are harassing us, you need to leave, you have a police report against you". Adams replied "did you know Oliver was cheating on me? I did not". Via the Ring doorbell camera, Adams was seen jumping over the wooden gate and Agather called the police.

INTIMATE IMAGES

Wilson later disclosed to police officers that Adams had sent intimate images of Wilson to Sam Cherny's family. Agather, Sam Cherny's mother, was spoken to over the phone on 28th May 2026 regarding the issue of intimate images. Agather explained that her husband was the one who received the intimate photos of Wilson and only Sam Cherny and Agather's husband had seen the photos. Agather's husband is not available at this time to provide a statement regarding the images received from Adams of Wilson but will do so at a later date. The sender accounts were identified as Instagram username 'samwhaes' and Facebook account 'samrobinson-adams'. Agather stated that her husband described the images to her, but she herself has not seen them. Agather was told that these were intimate photos of Wilson including photos of his penis.

Agather also told police that her 16-year-old daughter, â– â– â– â–  Cherny, the sister of Sam Cherny, did receive a message from Adams via Instagram stating, "â– â– â– â–  Cherny, I have sent you a message about my boyfriend Oli, my photo of whom you liked on Instagram. I swear I will give you my first-born son if you can help me with the questions that I have."

ASSAULT

Wilson stated that on 12/04/2026, he had been assaulted by Adams outside Stoke Newington Overground Station. During this incident, Adams struck Wilson to the head, causing a cut to his forehead. This incident was not reported to police at the time. Wilson confirmed that the relationship ended following this assault. Following Adams' arrest on 27/05/2026, he made a significant statement to PC â– â– â– â–  whilst en route to Hammersmith Police Station. This statement was recorded in PC â– â– â– â– 's PNB and signed by Adams. In that statement, Adams stated:
"At around 2300 hours on 27/05/2026 I was informed by Samuel in a police car en route to Hammersmith Police Station that he had assaulted Oliver by 'rapping' on the head whilst holding my mobile in my hand, leaving a laceration. This was during an argument on the 12th April outside Stoke Newington Overground Station."

HARASSMENT

Since Adams was bailed, he has consistently contacted relatives and acquaintances of Wilson's, asking them to pass on messages to him. These emails happen on a daily basis and Adams sends several a day, including stating how much he is still in love with Wilson.

CCB (Coercive and Controlling Behaviour)

During Wilson's VRI, he disclosed coercive and controlling behaviour displayed by Adams throughout their relationship.

Defendant Interview Summaries

INTERVIEW - 28/05/2026

Adams admitted to the assault on 12/04/2026 outside Stoke Newington Overground Station, stating he struck Wilson to the head with his hand whilst holding his phone, describing the act as a "sharp rap". He acknowledged causing injury to his forehead which caused a bleed, expressed regret, and confirmed this account was consistent with the signed significant statement made.

In relation to allegations of stalking, Adams admitted attending Wilson's address on two occasions following the relationship breakdown in April 2026, including on 27/05/2026. He confirmed he was aware Wilson had asked him not to make contact, but stated he continued to attend the address and send frequent emails because he was "pissed off" and wanted to confront Wilson and his partner regarding perceived dishonesty in the relationship.

INTERVIEW - 17/06/2026

Adams was interviewed by T/DC â– â– â– â–  and T/DC â– â– â– â–  at Charing Cross Police Station.

Regarding the CCB allegation, Adams stated that he asked Wilson briefly to share his location as he would disappear for long periods of time. Adams stated that he "wishes I could coerce or control Oli". Regarding the sleep tracking, Adams stated that he only noticed when he was asleep or awake as Oliver did not always reply when he was awake. Adams stated that "I think most boyfriends or girlfriends have an idea of each other's circadian rhythms".

When shown CAA/3, T/DC asked Adams to explain the graph. Adams stated that this is the result of continuous glucose monitoring data that Oliver gave him and Oliver's reply times on Facebook. The very light squares indicate the times Adams and Oliver did not speak to each other. The darker squares are when Adams messaged Oliver and Oliver had not replied. Adams stated that this graph was done in an attempt to figure out when Oliver was awake and what was going on with him at the time. Adams then stated that "this wasn't the craziest thing". When asked to elaborate, Adams stated that for a month he went over their texts, when Oliver was awake, his glucose data and did admit this made him feel "creepy".

WITNESS STATEMENT
Statement of: Oliver Babington Wilson
Age if under 18: Over 18
Occupation: Writer
Date of statement: 27/05/2026

This statement refers to the day when my ex-partner turned up outside the front gate of my house and attempted to get into my property.

My ex-partner is called Sam Robinson-Adams. I have known him for approximately 5 years. I met him through mutual friends and then began texting him. Over the years, it progressed into a relationship, however in April 2026 I cut all contact with him.

The gate at the front of my house only allows access to my property. The gate leads into a small front garden in front of my house. To open the gate, you require a key or someone with access to the app to unlock it electronically.

On Wednesday 27 May 2026, at 09:47, Sam emailed me saying "Oli, I am going to visit the two of you to discuss this. I would appreciate if you could break the habit of a lifetime and face up to your own choices. Best, Sam." I did not reply to this email, as I get frequent emails from him. I did not hear any more from him on this day until approximately 21:50, when my Ring doorbell rang repetitively. I then checked the app and saw Sam ringing the bell. I could then see on the camera that Sam was fiddling around with the latch on the gate.

At 22:15, my housemate's mother went onto the app and spoke to Sam through the doorbell. She said something along the lines of "There are two police reports against you. Please leave the property immediately." Sam continued to ring the bell and then at approximately 22:21, I saw on the camera that Sam climbed up onto the gate and was looking over the gate and trying to unlock the gate from the inside.

This then caused the gate to swing open. Sam did not walk onto the property; however, he stood there and continued to ring the bell. I strongly believe that this was a way to try and intimidate me and my housemates. This is when I phoned the police as I was worried about what he was going to do next.

Between 21:50 and 22:34, when police arrived, Sam had rung the bell approximately 65 times, despite being told to leave. I did not give Sam permission to turn up outside my house and intimidate me.

I would describe Sam as an IC4 male, aged 29 years old. He is of an average height and a slim build. He has brown hair and a dark brown goatee style beard. SAM was wearing a white t-shirt and a navy overshirt jacket.

WITNESS STATEMENT (FURTHER)
Statement of: Oliver Babington Wilson
Age if under 18: Over 18 | Occupation: N/A
Date of statement: 28/05/2026

This is a further statement. I make this statement regarding incidents involving Samuel Robinson Adams.

On 12th April 2026, I met Samuel Robinson Adams outside Stoke Newington Overground Station. We were seated on a bench. The purpose of the meeting was to have a calm discussion, and I made it clear at the outset that I wanted to keep the conversation simple and polite. During this meeting, Adams began asking me repeatedly to provide him access to my personal medical data, specifically relating to my blood glucose monitoring application. I suffer from Type 1 diabetes, and he was asking me to share this information with him. I refused and asked him to stop pushing the issue. I also told him to stop trying to control me and to behave normally.

During the interaction, Adams was holding a phone in his hand. He was standing very close to me. Without warning, he struck me to the face with the phone. The impact was to the area above my left eyebrow. This caused a cut which bled, as well as bruising. I still have a small scar from this injury. I later used makeup to conceal the injury for approximately a week.

Following this incident, Adams continued to contact me repeatedly by email. The volume of communication was excessive, often between 10 and 15 emails per day. These emails included abusive content and allegations about me and people associated with me.

On one occasion in April 2026, Adams attended my home address after ringing the doorbell. When I saw it was Adams, I closed the door and returned inside. I have made it clear to Adams on multiple occasions that I do not want any contact with him. I sent formal messages, including cease-and-desist requests, asking him to stop contacting me. Despite this, he has continued to contact me persistently.

WITNESS STATEMENT
Statement of: Heather Agather
Age if under 18: Over 18
Occupation: Self Employed
Date of statement: 27/05/2026

This statement is in relation to the incident whereby I witnessed my son's friend's stalker outside my home address. In this statement I will refer to my son's friend Oliver Babington Wilson as Oliver. I will refer to his stalker Samuel Robinson Adams as Samuel.

I have known Oliver for two and a half years and he resides with us. I have been aware of issues that Oliver has had with a person whom he would describe as a stalker since February, around three months ago. Around one month ago this started affecting my family. I would describe Samuel's behaviour as stalking. Oliver has clearly stated the behaviour is unwanted and I can tell it causes him both fear and distress and to our family.

On Wednesday 27th May 2026 around 21:45, I was at home with Oliver and my family when we heard our Ring doorbell. We checked the camera and saw that it was Samuel stood outside. I told Oliver and everyone else in the house to not engage with him, I decided to wait until 22:15 to see if he would leave on his own accord. He rang a total of 64 times during half an hour.

I eventually at 22:15 answered the call through my phone saying the words to the effect of "you are harassing us, you need to leave, you have a police report against you". Samuel did not seem affected by the possibility of police. Samuel instead responded "did you know Oliver was cheating on me? I did not".

At 22:21, Samuel can be seen on camera jumping up on the wooden gate. We could hear it inside the house and see him on the camera. It put us in fear of Oliver's safety, thinking that Samuel would attempt to gain access, and I called the police due to fearing for our safety.

This incident has affected me and my family. Samuel stood outside our house for half an hour. He was asked several times to leave, we informed him his presence and his behaviour were unwanted, and he would not listen.

Samuel appeared to be repeating words about Oliver cheating on him, although it was hard to hear exactly what he was saying. He did not listen to any warnings about us wanting him to leave and despite being told on numerous occasions that he is not welcome, that his behaviour is unwanted, and that it puts Oliver in fear.

I would describe Samuel as an IC4 male, slim, with dark hair, in his late twenties. During this incident he was wearing a white t-shirt and a blue jacket.

I have 21 clips and 4 photos from our Ring doorbell camera in relation to this incident, which I have given to police. I exhibit these as HAA/01 to HAA/25.
